Compression Therapy in New Buffalo
Compression therapy uses air-filled sleeves that gently squeeze and release your legs, arms, or hips in a steady rhythm for about 15 minutes. You sit back and relax while the sleeves do the work.
Many guests report their legs feel lighter afterward, especially after a long drive, a flight, or a day on their feet.
What is a visit like?
- You sit back in a comfortable spot and staff help you into the sleeves, usually over your clothes.
- The sleeves fill with air section by section, squeeze, and release. You can ask for less pressure at any time.
- After about 15 minutes the sleeves come off and you are on your way.
How long does it take?
15 minutes per session.
How much does it cost?
This is one of our core services. It is part of the Day Pass ($67): one visit with cold air, heat, light, and compression, about an hour. Visitors staying longer can choose the Week Pass ($99) or Month Pass ($200). Locals can choose Monthly All Access ($175 a month) or Longevity Paid in Full ($1,750 a year).
See every plan on our memberships and passes page.
Who should check with a doctor first?
Please talk to your doctor before you try compression if you have any of these:
- A blood clot now or in the past (DVT), or a swollen, warm, painful calf
- Heart failure or serious heart disease
- Narrowed arteries or poor circulation in your legs
- Open wounds, skin infection, or a recent fracture or surgery on the limb
- Nerve damage or numbness in your legs or feet
- Pregnancy
Important: If one calf is swollen, warm, and painful after a long drive or flight, do not use compression. See a doctor the same day to check for a blood clot. If you also have chest pain or sudden shortness of breath, call 911.
Stop and tell a staff member right away if you feel dizzy, faint, short of breath, or have chest pain. Call 911 for chest pain or trouble breathing.
